The Twelve Healers & Other Remedies (1936)

- ROCK WATER -

Those who are very strict in their way of living; they deny themselves many of the joys and pleasures of life because they consider it might interfere with their work.
They are hard masters to themselves. They wish to be well and strong and active, and will do anything which they believe will keep them so. They hope to be examples which will appeal to others who may then follow their ideas and be better as a result.

The Twelve Healers & Seven Helpers (1934)

Next let us consider illness which has been going on for a long time.

If the patient does not improve when what seems the right one of the Healers has been given, there are seven more remedies to prepare the way; because, when an illness is old, it has become more established and may require help before it responds easily, so that the seven remedies for such cases are called the Seven Helpers.

Therefore, if a case has not improved with what is considered the right one of the Healers, give treatment with one of the Helpers.

The first thing to notice is whether the patient is pale or high-coloured.

If pale, either OLIVE, GORSE or OAK will be needed. If high-coloured, VINE, HEATHER or ROCK-WATER.

- For those who are high-coloured -

- ROCK WATER -
Those who are very strict with themselves. They will give up everything, however much they may like it, if they think it bad for them, and suffer anything if they think it is good. They have much courage, and will face any treatment if they consider it may help.
They are hard masters, not of others, but to themselves, and so lose much of the joy in life.

The English and botanical name of each remedy is as follows:

ROCK WATER

The following will give an idea of the places where they may be found,

ROCK WATER. It has long been known that certain well- and spring-waters have had the power to heal some people, and such wells or springs have become renowned for this property. Any well or any spring which has been known to have had healing power and which is still left free in its natural state, unhampered by the shrines of man, may be used. This remedy does not require long exposure to sunshine, about one hour being sufficient.

The Story of the Travellers (1934)

Once upon a time; and it is always once upon a time, sixteen travellers set out to journey through a forest.

Rock Water, all afire to help, a little depressed the party because he would criticize what they were doing wrong, and yet Rock Water knew the way.

And in the end they all came through the forest.

Now they go as guides to other travellers who have not made the journey before,
Rock Water has forgotten to accuse, he just spends all the time encouraging.

The Twelve Healers & Four Helpers (1933)

- ROCK WATER -

These people are people of ideals. They have very strong opinions about religion or politics, or reform.

Well-meaning enough and wishing to see the world different and better, they tend to confine their efforts of help to criticism instead of example.

They allow their minds and largely their lives to be ruled by their theories.

Any failure to make others follow their ideas brings them much unhappiness.

They want to plan the world according to their own outlook, instead of quietly and gently doing a little in the Great Plan.

This remedy brings great peace and understanding, broadens the outlook that all people must find perfection in their own individual way, and brings the realisation of 'being' and not 'doing'; of being in ourselves a reflection of Great Things and not attempting to put forward our own ideas.

It teaches that it is by gentle example people are helped and are brought to realise truth, not by the severe methods of the inquisitor.

It helps to abolish disapproval and brings the understanding of allowing everyone to gain their own experiences and find their own salvation.

Rock Water. It has long been known that certain well- and spring-waters have had the power to heal a limited number of people, and such wells or springs have become renowned for this property. Any well or any spring which has been known to be a healing centre and which is still left free in its natural state, unhampered by the shrines of man, may be used. This remedy does not require long exposure to sunshine, about half-an-hour being sufficient.
